Friday, a groups of thugs found themselves under arrested after picking the wrong victim to attempt and rob. The incident occurred as 23 year old Mauricio King, Leonard Quinton Braxton (19), Annamarie Blair (19) and Antwaun Branscomb (17) decided to try their hands at robbery while unknowingly picking a target that was armed.
After attempting to rob the unidentified victim at a residence on Windham Drive in Littlerock, Arkansas, King was subsequently shot multiple times and the group fled the scene. Calling authorities from a Shell gas station on Dixon Rd. the group then fabricated a story that King was shot while walking down the street.

After further investigation, officials discovered that all four individuals provided false statements. More recent reports state that the group was trying to rob the occupants of a residence located in the 16,000 block of Windham Drive and there was a struggle. One of the victims in the residence pulled out a gun and shot King several times.
According to officials, the four ran from the scene and called 911 with a false story.
King was transported by MEMS to UAMS for medical treatment, and will be booked into the when he is released from medical care. All three of his accomplices were taken into custody and are charged with aggravated robbery and obstructing governmental operations.
